Development group to help efforts to build small reactors in Mo.
Regional
Economic Development Inc. is forming a task force to help Ameren and
Westinghouse Electric in their plans to potentially build small modular
reactors in Missouri. "Not only for the state of Missouri, this region
of Missouri, it's really a tremendous opportunity," said Todd Culley,
REDI board member and Boone Electric Cooperative's CEO and general
manager. "It's really as big as they come with our economic development
hats on." Columbia Daily Tribune (Mo.)
