US And Russia Seal Deal To Slash Nuclear Arsenals By A Third -- The Telegraph

President Barack Obama and his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev, on Friday sealed a landmark nuclear arms reduction treaty that they will sign together in Prague next month.

After months of deadlock, the deal on a successor to the Cold War-era Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (Start) was hailed as Mr Obama's most significant foreign policy achievement since taking office.

It boosted the US president's efforts to "reset" ties with Moscow.
