U.S. to help Nigeria, others develop nuclear energy, official says
The U.S. has vowed to help Nigeria and other African countries that plan to use nuclear energy to generate electricity. The U.S. would provide the assistance via the International Atomic Energy Agency, in cooperation with the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority and Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission, said Robin Sanders, U.S. ambassador to Nigeria.
