- Korea Electric Power, Sumitomo score $1.5B deal for U.A.E. project
The Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority has awarded Korea Electric Power and Sumitomo a $1.5 billion contract for construction and operation of a nuclear plant in the United Arab Emirates. The facility will be capable of producing 1,600 megawatts when it becomes operational in March 2014, KEPCO said.
