Japan's largest solar project announced
Kagoshima, Japan (UPI) Apr 12, 2012Japanese electronics giant Kyocera says it will build a 70-megawatt solar power plant in the southern Japanese city of Kagoshima. The project, undertaken with partners IHI Corp. and Mizuho Corporate Bank Ltd., will create a "mega-solar plant" to help solve Japan's power supply issues caused by the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear power plant disaster, Kyocera said in a release
