- CSB to hold talks on safety with oil, nuclear and drilling sectors
The Chemical Safety Board revealed the lineup of panel participants in an upcoming hearing that would allow oil industry leaders, drilling regulators and nuclear sector representatives to discuss safety performance indicators following the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster. The meeting in Houston on July 23 and 24 will include experts such as ExxonMobil Chief Process Safety Engineer Kelly Keim, who helped formulate the American Petroleum Institute's "recommended practice" for measuring process safety.
