Iran: Nuclear negotiations will resume if sanctions are removed
An
Iranian national security official said that nuclear negotiations
between Iran and members of the U.N. Security Council could continue,
provided sanctions against Tehran are lifted. The sanctions were imposed
when Iran declined to halt production of 20% pure uranium, which it
claimed to be for medical use but which the West suspects to be a
benchmark in a drive to produce nuclear weapons. United Press International
