- NRC: San Onofre test failure involved only one generator
Only one steam generator was the source of tubing concerns that led to an equipment-test failure at Southern California Edison's San Onofre nuclear plant in California, according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. The eight tubes that were in that generator, including the leaking tube that caused the Unit 3 reactor shutdown on Jan. 31, failed water pressure testing. San Diego Union-Tribune
