PG&E asks California for higher rates, angers Newsom | The Sacramento Bee: PG&E asked for the California PUC Monday to raise its allowable “return on equity,” to attract investment to improve wildfire safety. Customer rates would increase. Gov. Gavin Newsom is angry.
