NRC releases key report for relicensing of Wash. nuclear plant
There
are no concerns that would preclude renewing the operating license of
Energy Northwest's Columbia Generating Station in Washington, the
Nuclear Regulatory Commission said in a final environmental report. The
company expects a final relicensing decision in June. "Finally seeing
the finish line is thrilling," said Don Gregoire, manager of regulatory
