Areva expects to sign a reactor-construction deal with Nuclear Power
Corporation of India by year-end, said Arthur Montalembert, chairman of
Areva India. The companies initially agreed in 2010 to construct two
1,650-megawatt reactors at the Jaitapur plant in India. "If we sign the
contract by the year-end, we will target to commission the first reactor
by the year 2020 and the second by 2021," Montalembert said. Fox Business/Dow Jones Newswires
