Babcock & Wilcox opens nuclear fuel technology hub in Virginia
Babcock
& Wilcox has opened its Fuel Technology Center in Lynchburg, Va.,
which will be used for the development of fuel manufacturing
technologies for the company's small modular reactors. B&W has spent
more than $5 million for the facility, which is expected to generate
jobs for the state, said Christofer Mowry, president of Babcock &
