A plan to hold a referendum on whether to proceed with a new nuclear project in Lithuania cleared the country's parliament. The vote will take place in October. Lithuania and other Baltic region countries plan to build a 1,300-megawatt reactor to reduce their reliance on Russian energy imports. Bloomberg
