GE Hitachi has $400M enrichment contract with TVA
GE Hitachi's Global Laser Enrichment operation secured a $400 million contract to supply about 12% of the Tennessee Valley Authority's expected enrichment needs for a decade. The deal, cleared by TVA directors, is a "memorandum of understanding which says the two sides have generally agreed to commercial terms but is nonbinding," said Michael Tetuan, a spokesman for GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy.
