Areva remains dedicated to Idaho uranium enrichment project

Areva says it remains dedicated to building a uranium enrichment
facility in Idaho, though it is still searching for a financial partner
for the $3 billion venture. Financial challenges prompted Areva to delay
the project's development until 2013, from an earlier 2011 schedule.
"We've worked with our utility customers and negotiated agreements that
satisfy what their needs are, based on our strategy with moving this
project forward," said Mike French, a company spokesman. R&D Magazine online/The Associated Press
