Browns Ferry might start using mixed-oxide pellets in 2018
The
Tennessee Valley Authority's Browns Ferry facility in Tennessee might
use mixed-oxide pellets beginning in 2018 in an effort to save money
while lessening weapons-grade plutonium reserves in the U.S. Among the
factors that might affect TVA's decision are an environmental impact
analysis being readied by the Department of Energy and comments from the
