Entergy plan for storage of used fuel gets NRC clearance
Entergy's
plan for movement and storage of used fuel at its Indian Point nuclear
plant in New York gained the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's approval.
The proposal involves moving the used fuel from the pool of Unit 3 to
Unit 2 so it can be placed in dry storage containers. The utility
requested approval because Unit 3's pool is nearly full. Mid-Hudson News Network (Middletown, N.Y.)
