TEPCO is accused of understating damage to Fukushima Daiichi plant
Tokyo
Electric Power has attempted to understate how much damage the
Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant received from the March 2011 earthquake
and tsunami, a panel of experts probing the incident said. The panel
also accused the utility of slow-walking the investigations. "TEPCO must
take our findings sincerely and resolve the problems to achieve a
higher level of safety culture across the company," the panel said. Star Tribune (Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn.)/The Associated Press
