Senate bill pushes for revival of Nevada repository
A bill unveiled in the Senate would task President Barack Obama with certifying that the Yucca Mountain project in Nevada is still the ideal location for a federal radioactive-waste repository. Utilities would get back all of the money they put into the Nuclear Waste Fund if the president declines, according to the office of Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.
