U.K. should build additional nuclear plants, expert says
The
U.K. should construct more nuclear plants to secure energy independence
and meet its goal of reducing greenhouse-gas emissions by 80% by 2050,
said David King, director of the University of Oxford's Smith School of
Enterprise and the Environment. "On existing sites we could place 27 new
nuclear power stations by 2050, meaning that no other sites would be
